Support rails for track rollers (ELFS)
Linear Systems based on track roller carriages and precision machined aluminum rails with precision-ground steel shafts that function as raceways for track rollers mounted in the carriage.
ELFS

Complex construction of ELFS- type support rails.
Accuracy of ELFS- type support rails.
The parallelity values are determined by the use of differential measurement method. The straightness values of the ELFS-type support rails exeed the requirements defined in DIN EN 12020.

Types of mounting holes
As standard, ELFS support rails are delivered with symmetrically spaced mounting holes. Asymetrical hole spacing - with preservation of min. T1 and T2 distances - is possible upont request.
All ELFS- type support rails are also available without mounting holes, designateded with the suffix OL.

Compound ELFS-type support rails
If it is impossible to use a single-piece support rail due to space or transport constraints, loner support rails can be assembles from several shorter rails. Such configurations must be approved before ordering.

Special work conditions of ELFS type support rails for track rollers.
In some demanding conditions, such as vibration or high acceleration loads combined with insufficient support rail clamping, may make the steel shaft shift slightly shift in the aluminum base body (up to a few milimeters). To prevent such displacements, end stops can be applied at the rail ends.
Maximum permissible lateral load according to the technical table below shall be observed.

| 1) T1 and T2 depend on the rail length, calculated as: T1(min)/T2(min)=20mm. Other values available upon request. 2) Maksimal length of a single-piece support rail. Longer rails delivered in sections. 3) Countersinking for DIN 921 screws. When use DIN 433 washers, use DIN 7984 screw. |
