Recirculating units
Compact rolling modules which, when combined with linear guideways, eliminate the problem of limited stroke and ensure high precision as well as uniform load distribution in all directions.
Characteristics
Recirculating units are components used in linear motion systems that ensure smooth and precise movement by maintaining a continuous circulation of rolling elements (balls or rollers) between the carriage body and the linear guide rail. These solutions are ideal for applications that demand high rigidity and accuracy.
Thanks to the recirculation mechanism – in which the rolling elements move along the raceway between the guide and the carriage, exit the active path and enter a closed recirculation loop inside the carriage body – the elements are guided through specially formed channels back to the starting point, ready to begin a new cycle. This design eliminates stroke length limitations and allows continuous motion without loss of contact with the running surface.
