General Information
Schneeberger Monorail AMSABS 3B is an integrated absolute measurement system designed for use in automation engineering, material handling technology, and machine tool engineering, where high force absorption and precise distance measurement are required in compact installation spaces. The AMS 3B system is based on the roller guide (Monorail MR) with lengths of up to 6 meters. Integration of the measurement system enables the design of highly compact axes. Schneeberger provides an absolute interface with different cable lengths for connection to SSI, SSI+SinCos, FANUC, Mitsubishi, and Siemens Drive CliQ® controllers.
Various lubrication and sealing options for the carriage allow maximum customization to application requirements. The easily replaceable reading head is identical across all sizes.
