AMS 4B

General Information
Schneeberger Monorail AMS 4B is an integrated measurement system used for distance measurement on all protected axes of machine tools with lower machining forces combined with high precision requirements. The AMS 4B system is based on the ball guide (Monorail BM) with lengths of up to 6 meters. The integration of the measurement system enables the design of very compact axes. Available control system interfaces include digital options with various resolutions for different maximum speeds, as well as an analog 1Vpp interface (200 µm signal period). Reference marks can be set at 50 mm intervals or distance-coded.
Various lubrication and sealing options for the carriage allow for maximum customization to application requirements. The easily replaceable reading head is identical across all sizes.
