AMS Measuring Systems - AMSABS 4B

General Information

Schneeberger Monorail AMSABS 4B is an integrated absolute measurement system designed for use in automation engineering and machine tool engineering, where high force absorption and precise distance measurement are required in compact installation spaces. The AMSABS 4B system is based on the ball guide (Monorail BM) with lengths of up to 6 meters. Integration of the measurement system enables the design of highly compact axes. This Schneeberger solution provides a fully digital interface with various cable lengths for connection to SSI, SSI+SinCos, FANUC, Mitsubishi, and Siemens Drive CliQ® controllers.

Various lubrication and sealing options for the carriage allow maximum customization to application requirements. The easily replaceable reading head is identical across all sizes.
